About Me.
Hello! I am a first-generation college student at the University of Florida. I'm currently a BFA Graphic Design Major with a Mass Communications minor. I'm certified in Adobe programs (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and have been a freelance illustrator for 5 years and worked with clients for individual or large-scale designs and events with portraits or invitations. While learning graphic design, I specialize in creating logos, merchandise, social media graphics and brand identity. As I continue to learn to skills as a designer, in my free time I create original artworks mostly digital, based on women and elements of modern fantasy with my semi-realistic art style. I'm excited to continue honing my skills and gaining experience.
Genesis Barrios
Genesis Barrios is a Hispanic/Latina artist born in West Palm Beach now residing in Gainesville, Florida. From a young age she's had a passion for drawing and was inspired by media in films, shows and video games. Being outside surrounded by the beauty of nature influenced her soft yet colorful art style. She has taken art classes in school and begun working professionally creating digital portraits for clients or designing for small and large events commissioned through her website and social media platforms.
